Allow me to introduce myself; My name is Aaron Vanderhee and I have been a resident skier/boarder of New Mexico for all of my life. My father was an employee in the Ski Patrol of Taos Ski Valley and Angel Fire and I grew up around the scene. I was a skier from a very young age and transitioned to snowboarding as I got older. My father taught me that my board needed to be waxed from a young age, and I took this very seriously. I would often help family and friends to wax their gear, and now I want to help skiers and snowboarders around my local resorts.
This sport is something I truly love. I enjoy talking to riders and meeting new people. There is something about standing on top of a mountain enjoying the view with family and friends, then dropping for the best line of your life. New Mexico ski resorts offer something truly special to every rider. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, New Mexico has something to offer. Snow is excellent and comparable to Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. The Terrain in New Mexico is world class and relatively unknown and there are opportunities for backcountry skiing across the state.

Downslope Mobile is a mobile waxing and tuning service that is dedicated to skiers and snowboarders of New Mexico. Downslope Mobile offers waxing, tuning, and repair at their door. Downslope Mobile also informs customers that we provide a necessary service to equipment for prolong of use. Downslope Mobile is available in communities located near ski areas of New Mexico. This includes Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Pojaque, Española, Taos, Questa, Red River, and Angel Fire. Downslope will set up in central location or offer at-your-door service, all dependent on customer need or demand in an area. Downslope Mobile is currently a small service with plans of growing to multiple set locations in New Mexico. Downslope was created with the purpose of providing riders with an essential and accessible service to prolong performance of skis and snowboards.
Besides waxing and tuning, we hope to be a friendly part of New Mexico winter sports. New Mexico is a state with quietly amazing ski resorts and each resort will host regulars daily. We hope to help encourage customers to areas they have not been and stay in their home state for vacations. Winter in our state is a special time and it is important for local economy to have occasional skiers transitioning to regular riders. In essence, Downslope Mobile has a goal increase visitation the local mountains of New Mexico and connect people that enjoy riding in the wonderful hospitality of New Mexico.
